Nicla Bettazzi was a middle school literature teacher for over forty years and was active in the feminist movement. Mother of Massimiliano, she has been part of Faith and Light since 1996. She is a member of the Women's Consultation of the Pontifical Council for Culture, contributes to the cultural pages of L'Osservatore Romano, and, above all, is the adopted grandmother of a growing gnome.
